Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ResumeAI (the "Service"), a Canva app operated by StudioInk ("we", "us"). By installing or using ResumeAI, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
ResumeAI runs inside Canva and uses artificial intelligence to analyze resume text against a job description you provide, producing a score and suggestions, AI-rewritten resume sections, and AI-generated cover letters. Resume text and job descriptions you submit are sent to our AI provider to generate these results; see our Privacy Policy for details.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must have a Canva account to use ResumeAI and must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for any activity that happens under your Canva account while using the Service.
3. Credits, Plans & Billing
ResumeAI runs on a credit system. New accounts receive a one-time allotment of free credits. Paid Basic and Pro subscription plans grant a fixed number of credits that refill each billing cycle and do not roll over. A one-time Credit Pack purchase adds credits that stack on top of your plan and never expire. Each AI action (resume analysis, section rewrite, or cover letter) consumes a fixed number of credits, disclosed in the app before you use it.
Paid plans and Credit Packs are billed through Whop, our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you return to the free tier.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your own resume content, Canva designs, and any AI-generated output produced from them. ResumeAI claims no ownership over anything you create or generate. The ResumeAI app itself, including its code and branding, is the property of StudioInk.
5. AI-Generated Content
ResumeAI's analysis, scores, rewritten text, and cover letters are generated by an AI model and provided for informational purposes only. We don't guarantee accuracy, that any score reflects how a human recruiter or an employer's applicant tracking system will evaluate your resume, or any particular hiring outcome. Review all AI-generated content before using it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ResumeAI to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Submit content that is not your own resume or job-search material
- Attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service's credit limits or billing
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudioInk's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
